Background on World Mosquito Day:

In 1897, the British Doctor Sir Ronald Ross discovered that the female Anopheles mosquito transmits malaria between humans. Ross’s breakthrough discovery significantly impacted our understanding of disease transmission between humans and mosquitoes and led to improved treatment and disease prevention.

Since then, World Mosquito Day has commemorated Doctor Ross for his findings, remembering this historic feat and aiming to raise awareness and save lives.

This event will be hosted on Zoom. Once you receive your tickets, you will be sent the zoom link information.
